    This is my entry for July's Soap Challenge Club using the Acrylic Fluid Pour Technique with a Straw. I used Sauve Arts Drip Pour Technique seen here https://youtu.be/gwGQMaCQfzU however, I used a large diameter reusable straw to blow the soap around while pouring.
    I went with my trusty, tried & true soap recipe of Organic Coconut & Organic Virgin Olive Oil enriched with Organic Shea Butter, Hemp Seed Oil & Kaolin Clay.
    Wanted my colors to really pop for this method as I was worried the soap could muddy up pretty easily. I went with some Neon Pink from Crafters ...

  • Ombre Soap Challenge

    "Glacier Ice" Ombre` Soap Challenge Entry for June. Scented with Rosemary Mint & Peppermint Essential Oil, enriched with Organic Shea Butter & Hemp. I wanted the soap to look a little "jagged" or "cliff" like so I kept my mold at an angle & poured down the side. Measured out every pour by adding more uncolored soap base each time to get the gradient effect. I think it was 13 shades I got in total.     This is my first time participating in a soap challenge. I was intrigued with the theme. We recently moved back to the Northwest (North Idaho) from spending a few years down in Arizona. We now live in the Silver Valley, between Coeur d'Alene & the Montana border.
    I wanted to incorporate as much as I could that represents our beautiful state of Idaho & the Northwest.
